My tv sucks

Whenever my friends come over and we play video games and usually play split screens and they complain my tv isn't big enough and it's too fuzzy. Right now I have about $450 but I do have a job so I could spend more than that (keep in mind we're cheap asses here).
Someone recommend me a big tv for a decent price.
