Myfavefreebies is a scam

I had gotten credit for the wine offer about a month ago, the lady aproved it. Couple weeks later I go back and my zip code offers are revoked and my accounts on hold. I still have enough points for my "prize" so I make a support ticket and ask politley for it. The ticket was replied to and that lady said I was no longer welcome, also the wine offer was revoked the same day I made that support ticket. Guess the lady just took her money from my offers. Please no one go back there, and no one new join, there are better sites out there.

What are your experiences?:bomb:

yea i barely started on one of those sites and my zip/email things never got approved.... the site that i've gotten to actually work is cashcrate.com i've gotten my check for 30 bucks, mostly fillout surveys
why were you no longer welcome?

the admin seems pretty friendly to me so you must have done something bad
To be honest I dont know. Prizerebel is a good site though, I have a testomonial there.

I'm not a member of MyFaveFreebies, but I am a member of Cashchute, and a few days ago the admin left a message saying that they have new requirements for Zip/Email offers (from now on the entire survey need be filled out, and correct information must be used), and that offers completed in June would be revoked, or something along those lines.
The zip/email problem isn't necessarily just something with myfavefreebies, it happened to multiple sites that use those offers...
As far as everything else goes though, that is pretty unfortunate...
Thanks for the warning though, I joined them a little while ago but hadn't done any offers yet...

I hate all offers sites.

I just flow with Pinecone surveys. I get $5 Paypal per survey guaranteed and the occassional $30 - $100 focus group, and I get a good amount of freebie products to sample too!

I checked it out after reading this. How the hell do you join? I couldn't find any way to sign up.

The zip/email offers never worked for me and when I asked why I wasn't getting credit for them the lady basically responded 'sucks to you be'.

I am a member of this site, but after what they did to many members there I cannot recommend it especially when most of the offers say in the description "just enter your email address", or "easy email/zip submit". It does not say anything about filling out the second page with your name and address or filling out the whole survey, it just says easy email or zip submit. The heads up to fill out the second page was only stated in the forums which requires a separate signup btw. I didn't lose anything from the June revokes but there are supposed to be more credit revokes along the way for those offers done in July.

I used only legit emails and even though my emails now get spammed I have not been credited for half of the offers that I did despite trying different ways of getting credited such as changing browser settings, clearing cookies etc..

How long does it take PR to get in contact with you? I redeemed enough points for a 1600 point card four days ago, and they have sent no communication and the prize request just says pending.

The prize has to go through their prize que, its normal for that.

Yeah, can I get in on this? Any help would be appreciated!

They have gotten slower because more and more people are o ntheir website getting prizes. Be patient. Prizerebel is the best site i ahve done so far. I did MFF, was supposed to get 186 dollars, now im only getting a mere 60.

I lost 20 pts on MFF but I asked her to write me a check for five remaining points. She said ok. The best money site I've used is Cashcrate. I made about seventy bucks off of two checks over there. I'm also waiting to get my first check for thirty five dollars on Cashduck.

I can never get anything to approve on mff, or prizerebel for that matter. Gaminglagoon is the only thing that works for me, but they are out of offers so I am stuck sitting on points.

*About Pinecone* You have to search the 'net for a banner or a sponsor site. They can be hard to find sometimes. There's probably a thread at SlickDeals with a link.

You can't blame mff, or any of those sites for revoking the email/zip offers, the advertisers are to blame for that and thats why its widespread rather than one or two sites. I've personally had no issues with MFF, outside of not getting zip+email to credit but thats something with the MegaPromotions group because I can get the others to credit.

Yeah, that site sucks.

I could not find one offer that was actually free, and it's the site's fault that people get scammed because they're the ones putting the sites up.

All of them required CC it seemed, and here's a tip for you : never do offers that require credit card at any of these types of sites. It's trouble.

My personal favorite is Prize Rebel. Let's see its pros

-It has speedy approval because you are approved automatically with the bulk of the offers. With the lagoon sites you have to wait for staff member to approve your offers, and since they are human sometimes they may make mistakes which tends to happen too often.

-Most offers don't require you to use your creditcard.

-It has good and diverse selection of prizes ranging from games, consoles, and cards, and you can even request a custom prize from Amazon.

-It just has a lot of offers that actually work. Lagoon may have a tad more offers, but it's kind of useless considering most of the good offers get denied.

http://www.prizerebel.com/index.php?r=10421 if you want to test it out, here's the link.

The lagoon sites aren't bad, it's just prize rebel at the moment is king.
