Tried it 6 different times on two ps3's and it gets to 18 percent installed and quits reading the disc. Then tells me the data is corrupted and to install it again. Anyone else had this sort of issue with this game or any game? I assume its the disc.

Its the first game I've ever had that wouldn't install and I have over 50 ps3 games.

They let me return it the pawn shop for another game. :bouncy:

Sorry, I didn't have any issues when I installed the game. Did you buy it new or used? I did have a problem loading Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions when I first picked it up (used) to where I'd need to exit and restart the game to get it to boot up entirely. It happened the first two or three times I played it, but thereafter it was fine.
 
you may want to rent a copy or borrow one from someone and try to do the install from it and then see if you copy will work. i bought my copy new so i didnt have install issues.
 
Some retailers will resurface every used game that comes in, whether it needs it or not. I'm guessing that may be part of the problem. If you're having a hard time even making it through the install, I would highly recommend returning the game. Chances are even if you do make it through the install or borrow/rent the game to install it, you'll run into other data issues later on.

Its the first game that ever did that though. I guess that's why they traded in to the pawn shop. I'm not a fan of Naruto so 20 is the most I would have paid for the game. I got it for 15.
 
youre fucked then since you got it at a pawn shop since last i checked they dont give refunds . next time you buy used get it at a store with a return policy.

I was just going to say that his PS3 is trying to save him from an anime-based game. It's 2011, there are good PS3 games in the world, the drought ended years ago.
 
You Gus realize tha ultimate ninja storm 2 is actually a good game right? I'm not talking "anime game good" but actually with great reviews and everything, but I guess with your heads so far up your asses you can't see them.
 
i agree this game is easily the best anime based game ive ever played unlike many others out there it plays well to the anime source. its a solid fighter if they had skipped the story mode and focused on making it a deeper fighter with more characters it would have been a hell of a game.

Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is NOT a bad game at all. It's actually one of the best games this generation. Keep in mind that I'm not even a massive Naruto fan (I haven't even seen most episodes). It was one of the ten best games released last year.

If you are looking at the game to be a fighter, you will be disappointing because it's an Action/Adventure game with fighting game type battles. The battle is intended to be kept more simple just like any other Ultimate Ninja game. Graphics are great, fighting is tons of fun, soundtrack is good, storyline is BEYOND excellent. The story sequences were so good, there were many scenes I felt teary eyed. Took me over 16 hours to beat the game, yet I didn't go back getting many other things.

Now the first Ultimate Ninja Storm game is only good, not awesome. It's graphics are good, but doesn't really have much of a storyline and continues to rinse/repeat a mini-game/fight.

I'm beyond excited for Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Sucks so bad the game isn't coming out this year, but at least we get Ultima Ninja Impact for PSP.

Gov'na Playstation, you do not know what you are talking about. I know you love them animu games, but as a fighting game this game fails. That's the criteria I am judging it from. So in all due respects Gov'na, you should play more bleach.

Bleach is an awesome game too, but Naruto: UNS2 is still better. However, this is NOT a fighting game. It's really an action/adventure where you play fighting type battles. You have missions and other fun things to do.
