What makes this psp game impressive is that it's more then just a scaled down port of Ultimate Ninja 1 or 2. It actually adds it's own twist to the game by allowing you to fourm teams instead of always fighting one on one.

The only other Naruto game I can think of that does that is Clash of the Ninja 4 which will never make it to North america (shame really since it's better then Clash of the Ninja Revelotion by a mile)

The only downside is that it's only got 20 character so they took a couple out from the Japanse version for no explicable reason. Still that's not half bad for a handheld fighting game.

ARGH!

The American cartoon is so behind that all these characters are played out (probably why they were taken out Japanese version to, since the American audience doesn't know who they are).

Cartoon Network needs to put more Naruto out faster.

I'm definitely excited about this game and will probably get it (unless I run out of money). Yeah, I've been reading that same site myself and discussing it.

I still want to pick up Ultimate Ninja 2, but I haven't played my PS2 as much as I use to (due to getting a PS3 and 360), so I may just get Ultimate Ninja Heroes. I'm a member of Hokage's Room too. :)

Wait a moment, do you happen to be the Gold_Guardian I know??

Other than the team aspect, is it just gonna be the exact same thing as Narutimate Portable that came out like a year or two ago? Picked that up at Best Buy when the one near me had it in stock, and the team aspect isn't nearly enough to make me want to spend $40 on the awful American presentation of this series...

One and the same my friend.

Oh and the missing characters are

Kabuto
Third Hokage
Sazune

So it's not like people don't know who at least two of them are.

The good news is that they might just have made them hidden characters instead of totally taking them out of the game.

I play the Japanese ps2 Naruto games. The American versions suck compared to the Japanese because they change so much and they take out characters. I just download a save file so I don't have to go through all the work; my friends and I just play it for the multiplayer. You guys should check out Narutimate Accel. I look forward to the next installment of the Japanese series rather than the Americanized poopy versions.
