This game is awesome for PS2, I wouldn't think the GC version would be much different. Best in the series IMO.
It's just like the PS2 version. However, there is a huge dead zone in the middle of the analog stick for steering, so it's not quite as easy to do precise movements. I prefer the "Dirt to Daytona" version's control.
I'll vouch for that. It's very hard to keep your car steady going around a turn in Nascar Thunder 2003, way harder than it should be. I also own Dirt to Daytona and much prefer that one. I don't even think I've played Thunder since getting Dirt to Daytona. But still, it's well worth $2.
Yup; the GC version has a HUGE deadzone in the center of the stick, so you have to move the controller waaayyy too far to just do a little adjustment. Dirt to Daytona handles much better and has more gameplay types. (Dirt, Truck, Open, etc.)
