National Video Game Museum in Frisco TX

I went to the National Video Game museum this past weekend and figured I'd share some pictures with you guys.  It was pretty cool seeing all the retro games in one place.  They had a bunch of old consoles set up to play games, including the old small tabletop LED arcade games.  Sorry for the blurry pictures but I only had my phone with me.  I'm hoping to go back at some point so I'll add some better pictures.

This is how it all began:

Here's my son posing with Mario.  Behind him you can sort of see all the consoles mounted on the walls.  The screens and SNES pads let you scroll through all the systems to view their history.

Game watch display.  Thanks to this, I found out I can sell my Arcade-Time watch for good money!  

I used to have this Pac-Man board game, but got rid of it at some point.

I ended my time here by posting the daily high score on Turbo.  Sadly, the real high score is almost 3x that.  You get 10 tokens and your name on the board if you pass the high score on any game.

That's the BEST museum that I've ever visited. I'd like to go back there and spend an entire weekend.

I went a year ago and it was amazing. i wish I could've spent more time there. I hear they have a lot of archives of magazines and stuff as well, but they are in a warehouse not accessible by the public. There's a ton of stuff I would love to see in there.

Awww man. I love digging around in classic publications. Would be cool if it was open to the public, though I understand why it isn't.
