So I have an ultimatum to order a DVD cabinet by the end of this weekend. Does anybody know a good website or B&M store to find a nice one for cheapish?

Must have doors, but the doors can be either glass or solid. Like it to hold at least 200 DVDS, the more the better.

Best I've found is one that holds just over 200 DVDs for about $200 shipped.

I'd check the Sunday ads. Everything from BB to Office Max sells them, and there are usually sales on them every week.
edit. IDK if Linen's N Things sells them (they should), but they always have 20% off coupons in their ads for any item.

That's along the lines of what I'm looking for. Shipping would be nearly $50 on that sucker which kind of sucks. But I think I'll swing by Wal-Mart and see if they have any in store. Is there anyway to check store stock on the website? I didn't see it.

We'd probably prefer something a little more attractive. But if it's $120 for that vs. $200+ for something else I'd rather save the $100.

DDD also has a cabinet or two that looks promising.

You should be able to find one at Walmart or at a Boscov's if you have one near you. I bought a very similar cabinet at Boscov's a couple years ago (Forest Hills instead of Orchard Hills, the only difference seems to be the hardware and color of the wood), and I've been very happy with it. Sauder makes a pretty good product.

deepdiscountdvd.com sells racks. You can get a 1500 count cd rack that also holds about 900+ dvd's for under $150 shipped. They have a 1000 count cd rack for about $120. They also sell cabinets too, some large size ones for $250 or so. THe cabinets for 250 probably hold 500 or so dvd

I've had many bad experiences with Sauder brand (they now go by many different names) products. The biggest problem is the shelves tend to bow under the weight of the DVDs or CDs they were designed to hold. This goes for their bookshelves too.

Now, that isn't to say you can't get a Sauder shelf. You have to make sure that the shelves are short. The shorter the better. Because the short shelves don't bend as often. If you get shelves over 12 inches then you might start to notice the bend in the middle.

Hope that helps.

Reading comprehension FTW! I actually looked for this at the local Wal-Mart, guess that's why it wasn't there.

Somehow the deadline passed and I wasn't forced to buy one. We sent an e-mail to a website I can't remember (racksandstands.com) asking if they would price match a shadier looking site (with a crappier return policy) that had a cabinet for a little cheaper than them.

What I'd really like to do is watch the local Craig's List for the next month or two and see if anything pops on there.
