Need a new Gaming Desktop...

My desktop finally died after around 7 years or more. I'm not really looking to build one from parts this time, I just want to buy a really bad ass one and have it shipped to me. The only thing I really play on my PC is World of warcraft, and i'll be playing Starcraft and Diablo 3. I play other games on my consoles. Price range will be around 1k to 1.5k so i'm thinking I can get something that's easily upgradeable in the future, but will last a really long time performance wise. Now one thing i'm curious about cause I don't keep up with PC innovations like i should. Are there any new PC innovations coming out that I should wait for? Like new cards, new processors, etc... Or is now the time to get in on it?

Any hoot, thanks for reading and I look forward to any and all recommendations you guys can offer.

These are the 2 im seriously considering, I'd like to get an order in today, but i'm unsure. Seems like the blu ray combo on the 1.6k is the extra cost, however i'm unsure of the difference between the
NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250 1GB vs ATI Radeon HD 5850 1GB

any help would be apprectiated. I'm alittle worried thought, cuase i'm gettting conflicted reviews from both of these companies who seem to be the same. However I see bad review from major companies as well. >

Wow those seem pretty expensive but at the same time very nice! I'd be happy with either one of those but my cheapass wouldn't allow me to buy either.

Check the Alienware Aurora or the Dell 730x (I believe those are the i7 models) at www.dell.com/outlet. In the price range you are looking at they should have some really good ones. I have purchased many computers from the Dell Outlet and the only time I had an issue the went over the top to take care of it.
