I decided to purchase a modem because I was tired of renting one from the cable company. I went with the Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Now I need a wireless router to go with it. I don't know much about computer hardware so any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have 2 iphones, 1 tablet, 1 laptop, 2 360s, 1 ps3, and 1 wii all running on 1 wireless network. Should I get one of the more advanced routers with all the devices that I have attached or will a simple router work just as well? Don't want to spend more than $100 but might be able if it's worth the money.

Have to put in a nod for the Asus RT-N56U router, which I've been using for the past few months, and this thing is a stunningly great router. This is a review on SmallNetBuilder.com that pretty much sold me on it:

Picked it up from NewEgg.com for around $130, which included a free 1 year warranty extension from ServiceNet (2 year ASUS warranty, 3rd year replacement warranty through ServiceNet):

Handles 5 Tivos, two printers, 2-3 laptops, 1 PS3, 1 360, 1 Wii, 1 TV, 1 Android phone without a single issue.

I have and like this one> http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cisco-Linksys-Wireless-N-Router-WRT120N/12538152

I got it for $39.xx + tax, instore, with an extended warranty for $3. Sometimes, I'll have my desktop computer on, my PS3, and be on my HP Touchpad(running Android) and I am happy with this purchase.

If you have a WalMart nearby, and are interested, I say check it out. You'll have your receipt, so... Also, I think I had this since September, last year.
I use the D-Link DIR 655 Extreme N Gigabit Wireless Router, I've had it going for maybe around 5 years. I think it's great easy to use and have not really had any problems with it.

I've had Netflix on xbox360, Hulu from BR player, a laptop, my PC, and 3ds all running at the same time with no issues.
I use this one. Got it when it was on sale for $55. Very easy to setup!

Another great choice. This is what I'm using at the moment and what we use at the college that I work at. Flawless so far.
Second the Linksys E3000. Drop a custom Tomato firmware on it and it will be solidly great. I used to use a Buffalo 802.11g router with Tomato and I will likely stick with Tomato-compatible routers for as long as they exist. The E3000's simultaneous dual-band, and the 5GHz is a real godsend for me since I live in a condo building with a crazy high number (30-40) access points visible at any given time on 2.4GHz.
