Need furniture & cookware deals

CAGiversary!
Hi people I'm (hopefully) going to be moving into a new apartment in a few months and I need stuff like furniture and pots and pans. Are there any good deals online that I'm not aware of? I'm starting to think that maybe I should look locally for these things but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Watch craigslist and check out flea markets for furniture. I bought a vintage 60's couch that's in like new condition for $100 at a local flea market. For cookware, watch sears and kohl's sales. They sometimes have good prices. Also check TJ Maxx/Marshall's for individual pieces. You can sometimes find quality brands for walmart prices.

Its too expensive to look online for furniture due to the size and weight issue. Visit local furniture places. Most will knock money off the price if you ask. Dont be afraid, the salesperson will do anything for a sale these days.

Keep in mind that most stores dont keep any stock on hand and will order it once you pay for it. Some offer 90 days same as cash or layaway plans.

Also look for used furniture places. Some great deals can be had on second hand furniture.

Pots and pans can be purchased cheaply from walmart or your local grocery store.

Good advice especially on TJ Maxx.
