I just ran Defraggler and it has found a few fragmented files from a DVD I ripped to my computer a while back. The problem is the directory no longer exists and I thought I had deleted the files off of my computer. When I try to open the directory, it says that it is not accessible and access is denied.

Are there any programs or anything I can do that will let me delete the files off of my computer? They are over a gig each and I'm trying to free up some space on my hard drive.

The easiest way to delete them (after you've ensured that they should be deleted by looking into the folder) is to boot up another OS, mount the drive, and delete the files. That way they have no privileges to actually deny you. If you are going to do that, then burn a LiveCD from any Linux distribution (such as Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, Fedora, etc) and boot from the CD. At which point you'll want to make sure to run the OS off of the CD (don't install it).

Thanks for the help, I finally got around to doing this today and went from 4.5 gb left on my hard drive up to 21 gb. I had a ton of old shit on my hard drive that I had no access to anymore. I used Ubuntu too.
