Maybe you could google around to find an actual retro-based online store? Otherwise a local shop that carries old games? If you're lucky enough to have one near you.

Named SpyralPlus who says it's guaranteed genuine or you get a full refund + $15, guaranteed to work for 30 days, etc. Pricey, but you could actually find one in good condition. Firered doesn't use a battery like Emerald, so at least you don't have to worry about that being dead. You can always compare the actual cart to one online to verify it's real.
