Okay, for some odd reason, lately, I've been noticing that my playstation 2 (non-slim) has been acting wierd.....whenever I try to load in a disc, it makes this loud ass choppy noise for a long period of time while it's trying to read.....sometimes I hear it right when I turn on the power switch in the back of the machine. I don't know why but when that happens, everything related to loading just completely shuts down.
while i'm playing a game like smackdown vs raw, as i'm playing, it will make this choppy constant rattling noise and nothing will load after the match is over. The music and sound dies off, and If i'm lucky after 10 minutes of that crap, it starts to work for a while again.
I thought at first that it was probably becuase I over used it so I let it cool down for a day and the next day, I barely turned it on for no mmore than 15 minutes and it does it again.
what does that scratchy choppy noise mean? .
I tried to shake it and smack it around here and there, but it doesn't no good.....
I only get lucky sometimes when I reload in and out the cd while in play and sometimes it runs smoothly.
