Need Help Importing DS Lite

Hey Guys,

I'm in the market for a Lime Green Nintendo DS and I've just realized that nobody in the UK ships consoles to the US. Lowest I've seen is Amazon which reduces my order to 85.04 when removing VAT but I don't know how that would work considering I'd most likely have to have it shipped to a local individual. I'd love to get this thing imported but I'm not sure it's really cost effective.

Please help!!!

Anyone out there with suggestions????

You'll be paying UK tax. All of it.

And probably your US tax, too, when you import it, because postal insurance will require you to declare exactly what it is.

Does anyone know of an online dealer that actually ships consoles to the US from the UK, IT, DE? I'd prefer to avoid all Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong sites as I don't feel they're as "legit" as I'd like them to be.

Checked. Struck out. They only have like 2-3 DS' in stock and no european colors.

Just an update. I ended up going with ComputerUniverse.net, it's some German company that had them available. Shipping sucked but it still beats paying VAT.
