Need help real fast

For some reason my Ti 84 silver calculator doesn't show the x or y axis when it graphs. Can someone help please? I'm ed tomorow if my calculator doesn't work right.

Are you zoomed in maybe?

Try pressing 2nd then Zoom. You should get a bunch of different options...if AxesOff is hilighted, switch it to AxesOn. This should bring back your x and y axis. If that doesn't work, you could try 2nd then + to access memory, press 7 for Reset, and then 2 to reset your calculator defaults.


I have a TI-83 Plus, but it should be similar to your calculator.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try it soon because I was backing up my calculator to get ready to reset it as a last resort.

Does anyone know how to clear up some RAM on the calculator?

If you're taking a math test you better know

to clear up ram, you should be able to "archive" some apps and that sort of thing, or that could just be for the 89.
The ones with the * in front of the name has been archived, and then moved from one memory bank to the much larger archive bank.

I will have to look through my manual for my 84 to see what I can find.

if you have any apps that you dont use, you can usually delete them to clear up ram.. (backup first of course, just to be safe)
