need help with a wireless router

So here's my situation: I just moved and we need a wireless router. I have the modem in my room hooked up to my desktop. My connection is fine being wired. I have two roommates; one has a Toshiba notebook with integrated 802.11g, and the other has a desktop with an old Linksys usb 802.11b adapter. I also would like to play my DS online. What do you guys recommend for a router with at least one wired ethernet port for me (maybe they all have them, i don't know) two to four wireless ports, and DS compatibility? And, can my roommate with the Linksys wireless b adapter hook up to any g routers? I think they're backwards compatible, maybe not. I want something reliable and fast, with some easily implemented network security, but I don't wanna spend a ton. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time guys.
 
I bought a Netgear WGR614 at fry's. Runs about 30$ right now and has 30$ rebate.
So far, works fine. But i am still testing it.
My last router was a D-Link, which frooze up all time.
