CAGiversary!
I did some searching and couldn't quite figure out what topic to put this in, and couldn't really find any answers.
I bought the Xbox 360 Wireless Wifi adapter back in July. Since then, I've not been able to party up with my brother who lives upstairs. (We do share the same internet connection.) When we tried to play Halo 3, it says it is something with our NAT settings not being Open...but I can verify they are on both consoles. However, when I run a cord across the house to my 360 and directly connect it works.
So here's the lay out. We have the internet cable modem in the attic, where my brother lives. It is then hooked up to a router so it can be strung downstairs through the floor and into my father's bedroom, where is is then routered down to the lower unit. It's then connected to my wireless router and everything works fine with the wi-fi on everything. I can even connect to any other parties, except for my brother.
Sorry if this is a jumble but it's late and I'm kinda tired. Just getting frustrated because I bought a wi-fi router and adapter to not have to run a direct connection. I'm out of ideas of what the problem is, unless it is the IP...which I don't know how to solve. Any suggestions?
