Need Opinions - Keep old 360 or upgrade original Xbox?

So I'm planning on getting the Halo Reach Xbox bundle when it comes out. Currently I have an Arcade unit that I bought last November in the living room with the 120 GB hard drive and wireless network adapter hooked up to it and in my computer room I have an original Xbox (soft modded). When the Reach Xbox gets here it'll replace the one in the living room. I'm thinking about taking it and hooking it up to TV in my wife and I's bedroom so we can stream video from our computer in there OR I can sell it and just buy a wireless network adapter for the original Xbox and move it in there, then pocket the rest of the money. What should I do?

I would sell the Arcade and 120GB and do the wireless adapter item for the Xbox. I just think the Xbox will hold up better than the 360 as a media center device. The only real benefit that the 360 has over original is that it has an easier time with playing a lot of the HD content. I think that the usability of XBMC and all the stuff it can play without too much effort more than makes up for that. With that said, I would have a month or two of overlap because who knows exactly how well these newer console builds can handle punishment.

Don't ever dump the Xbox 1..you'll regret it later. I have 3 original Xbox's that get more use then the current gen systems that I have and yes there all for XBMC streaming from PC's to TV for movies and shows.

Whatever I decide I don't plan on getting rid of my original Xbox any time soon. How else am I going to play all of the non-backwards compatible games I never got to yet? Speaking of, need to move Beyond Good and Evil up my backlog...
