Need some cosplay help. Anyone?

Working on my deathnote cosplay. I need a black wig that looks similar to Ls hair. Anyone with any advice. Also any CAGs in NYC know of anime cosplay stores that do repairs? My plugsuit costume (from EVA) has a torn zipper.

for the zipper, just take it to any tailor or seamstress. As for the wig, just buy a really long straight black wig and then trim and shape it for the look

heh, a friend of mine actually ordered that same wig for a Phoenix Wright cosplay. for what it's worth, the quality was quite nice.
