Is this really legit? I mean, it is an interesting idea to make people come back and look at your website everyday, but can they really make money this way? Please let us know what happens with your order!
 
yea...I actually thought about it for a little bit. Which is sorta strange because I shouldntve had time to think about it. Course they're not gonna make money on this purchase (and who makes money off CAGs anyway right?)

I have to admit, the price is criminal, certainly in the metaphorical sense if not the literal sense.

Edit: yea, i know its sold out, but theres still next month's random day
 
They're not going to make money by selling one of these iPods, but I assume their strategy is to get people looking at their site every day in February and March. Maybe if some of those people make purchases, they can recoup their losses. They are, after all, only selling 50 of these things, so if they are a large enough company, they don't stand to lose that much in all.

It's just that this could easily be one of those things where they say they are sold out, but have actually not sold any iPods at all. No once would know the difference, I think. I'll probably still check a few times, though.
 
even if they sell 50 ipods at that price as a promotional ad, its still cheaper than airing a commercial on tv

wow 100 bucks thats so awesome. Anyone know if the site is trustworthy? If i actually get in on this deal i don't wanna lose 100 dollars.
 
i wouldnt bet on that march date being any time before march 25th...no way they are gunna give up all those people looking at their site. bookmark it and wait it out.

It concerns me that the email has more than one grammatical errors. Also a friend of mine who ordered before the website was slow got his canceled too. They charged my card for it but it hasnt cleared yet. Maybe I should pre-empt any further inconvenience and just get a new card.
 
wow indeed that email is mad sketchy, i retract my earlier comments as the website now stands as highly suspect
