Well I finally caved and bought a 360 today. I got the 4gb version from target since they had it on sale. I know I need to get a bigger hard drive. But where to get it from? Or would I be better off getting the 250gb version next week from best buy since its going on sale for 250?

I also have an external hard drive, Would it work to expand the hard drive for the 360 having it continously plugged into it or no? I'm completely clueless when it comes to a 360 as you can tell.

I believe the externals only expand it by 16 GB unless you know the workaround, which I do not.

I'd personally just buy the 250 GB and not worry about it.

Yeah, you can only use up to two 16gb flash drives for extra memory. If you had a 250GB HDD it'd format it and use only 16GB of data.

Issue I ran into using the older drives in the slim is they were slower. I tried with both a 60gb drive and a 120gb drive and stuff took a while to load. Bought a 250gb drive that is meant for the slim and it worked perfect.

thanks guys. Anyone know if the hard drive at target has the lego star wars code? I have a 25 dollar gift card from buying the xbox. It'd make it 75. Thats about the cheapest I'll be able to find one I think.

It caught my eye at Target with the free LSW3:TCW download. Unless it was a limited time offer it should have it in-store. You can't miss the sticker on the front of the package if it has it.

Thanks, I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask if they have any. I doubt it since mine is a rink a dink store that barely carries anything usefull. I don't even think I saw games last time I was in there.

Was about to mention this. Saw them for 67.97 I believe. I wouldn't call neither OP. Usually the employees will not even know, and by you calling them you will tip them off. They will then proceed and stash it to buy it for themselves when they get off work.
