New Babies R Us 15% off Coupons starting Dec 3rd to use at TRU YMMV

Some TRU's will refuse these as they are clearly designated for Babies R Us. While they will scan, they are clearly not meant for TRU use.

Just a heads up for anyone who may get denied.

but what about those TRU stores that have a BRU store inside? like a TRU store around here that also has a BRU, and the staff are wearing that purple BRU. would the coupon work for that kind particular store when you check out?

of course, R Zone will be like a separate entity. LOL!!! :lol:

That's one rejection I would love to hear in person! "I'm sorry, sir, this is R Zone, not Babies R Us. Your coupon is only valid on items from aisles 8 through 10."
 
I was able to use the 15% off when purchasing Mario and it stacked with the $25 gift card. My plan is to bring my receipt showing I just used the coupon a week prior and it works on video games.
 
I had an employee scan one of these to try and use on a console sale, but the computer rejected it.. so there are more restrictions on these than stated on the coupon. :p

Games worked fine though.

Games worked fine though.[/quote]Previous TRU coupons didn't allow their use on video game systems, from what I remember, so I'm sure this one has similar restrictions built into it.

Yeah, it should be common knowledge that all TRU/BRU coupons exclude consoles, diapers and formula. They are standard exclusions.

Yeah, the exclusions are exactly the same for employee discounts too.

Yes, but you can use the diapers and wipes coupons. :)

Also, as far as TRU/R-zone accepting the coupon, it should scan as long as they try. Some TRU's will refuse to even try based on it being BRU or based on the "Only original coupons accepted" though I usually just say I'm on the mailing list and printed it at home. :)

NO. Stores are very particular on Black Friday about taking coupons. Plus Black Friday is in November, these coupons don't start til December. :roll:

there was a older coupon that said valid through 12/2/2007
 
Used it at a regular TRU with no problem, taking it in Friday when PMing the Zune...wish me luck and thanks Op!
