New ESRB rating

There's a new ESRB rating that I recently noticed (seen here). The new rating is E10+. Anyone else heard about this or seen any games with this rating? I was also wondering how new it was.

kinda ridiculous to draw the line at 10, a special rating tor kids 10-12? thats just a waste of space...

I guess it's pretty new since I haven't heard of it or seen it any where. Looks like it is for kids 10-13 since T is for 13 and up.

i bet this resulted from parents whining about Incredibles getting a teen rating for cartoon violence. Meh whatever, i dont really care doesn't affect me though.

Smash Brothers did too, and there is nothing wrong with that game either.

PETA must have complained about the gorilla on electric rodent violence
So can I use this like the PG rating and assume that if it's slapped on a game I probably won't enjoy it?
that's pretty stupid thinking on both counts.
This was just posted at Gamestop.
This isn't a bad idea. Very few parents seem to understand the ratings. ESRB should change their ratings so they have ages in the ratings-for example "Teen" would be "Teen 13+".
Basically adding what Sega did years ago with whats going on now...i say the MPAA should just let everyone use their ratings...would be much easier..

Eh. I think if parents give a damn about the ratings, they would've already found out what the ratings stood for. Stamping the age bracket on the front just shows how lazy/igornant the parents are.

From you I'll take that as a compliment. :D

I agree.

Oh and this is also a new one to me. I wonder when this new ESRB rating came out. Does any site have a listing for when it was unvailed?

It makes sense, but I find it kind of funny that it basically says "This game is for everyone. But only those everyones 10 or older."
