this is a surprise to you?

every major corporation builds profiles of their customers. i contributed to my company's profiling project and every key manager within the organization went through 2-day training on these profiles.

they aren't intended to be 100% accurate. they are intended to define the customer so that you can offer products that best suit the customer's needs.

Best buy has been profiling customers for years.

I don't find it offensive unless they are making it obvious they are doing this, like asking you questions about your habits and how many kids you have and where you work, as long as they are not doing this, there really is no way you can stop them from profiling.

I think every one on CAG falls into the "Devils" category at least in some way.

Devils - Use rebates, stock up on loss-leaders and flip on eBay, use unfair internet knowledge to exploit BB's lowest-price guarantee.

I guess I'm safe since I exploit BB's lowest-price guarantee without internet knowledge.

What is the lowest price guarantee?

Haha. Unfair internet knowledge. They should just change it to unfair knowledge, unfair that they cant rip you off as much as they would like.
