It certainly ought to have dropped to $40, or even $30 (or $20) by now, but it seems MSRP is still $60, and that's what most places charge.
 
One would think that Sony would announce some sort of US "greatest hits" line for PS3 at some stage...hopefully at E3 in a few weeks.

Yeah, what's up with that? We should had have a greatest hits line sooner.
 
I am (not so) patiently waiting for a greatest hits line. I just got my first PS3 when the MGS4 Bundle was released. I want to pickup some of those great games that I missed like Resistance and Uncharted.
 
I need Resistance and R&C still, but I'll wait until they both go GH and then snag a non-GH edition the day the price breaks. They previewed the GH packaging and it's yellow this time around instead of red. Not as bad as the 360's "Picture of the box art" approach but I still hate GH versions...:bomb:

Or better yet, they could just drop prices on games without repackaging them as 'value' titles. I hate GH/PH covers.

I don't understand this logic, you didn't "miss" these games, you can still go to the store and buy them or get them half off on ebay.
