Im trying to return a copy of Darkness II i got a week or two ago from them. It was on sale the following week at best buy for 12 bucks. However when i try to go through the automated RMA its greyed out and wont work. DO they not take straight refund/returns? The game is unopened. I just assumed they did when i ordered as pretty much every place will take returns but you usually just have to eat the postage, and sometimes a small restocking fee. Anyone know how i can try to return this? Its not really a regular RMA because its not defective, its just a flat out return

*edit* jesus their customer service and page layout is horrible. I cant find out how to report a problem with the 3rd party seller game i got that was obviuosly used and not new. The report a problem link just takes you to the general help search page. What the heck. Newegg used to be pretty good years ago, i think im gonna have to avoid buying from them again in the future. Anyone have any idea how to contact the 3rd party sellers/newegg about an issue like that?

I checked, and it The Darkness II has this return policy if you bought it from newegg, meaning they won't normally accept returns for a refund, and will only issue a replacement. However, if you complain to newegg enough you could probably get store credit or if you're lucky, a complete refund.

Limited Replacement Only Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: non-refundable
  • Return for replacement within: 30 days
Products that state "This item is covered by Newegg.com's Replacement Only Return Policy", or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Newegg within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item, if the original is no longer available. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.
