NFL Player Detained While Relative Died

The cop was in the right to pull him over. Moats went through a red light and then took more than a minute to pull over after the siren was turned on. Both parties, however, handled the situation poorly after getting out of the car. Moats should have shown his proof of insurance, etc. when asked, gotten the ticket out of the way as quickly as possible, then go to the hospital. The officer should have been more understanding, especially since they were already in the hospital parking lot. And by all means, don't say "I can screw you over." That just smacks of power trip.

As for the ticket, I don't think that it should have been thrown out. He did run a red light. Cars are extremely dangerous and I take an unkind view of those who break traffic laws.

Considering the setting for running the light any good, experienced cop with common sense would have let it go with a warning.

White boy.
Moats asked the officer to give him a ticket a lot though. The officer was just being a douche bag
If he would have just given moats the ticket none of this we would even be discussing.
