Well, I had 4 games I really didn't want anymore and decided to offload them At gamestop. Got 40 bucks, and as I was leaving I saw A Tales of Destiny in the PsOne bin, Expecting it to be real shitty and incomplete I picked it up, and it looked as if whoever had it played it once and stored it away. I got it for $22 in credit and then reserved Twilight Princess with the left over. I've never played TOD (I have played Tales of Phantasia and Symphonia) before, is it any good?

It's certainly a "sought after" game. I haven't played the game to completion, but from the little I've played, it seems like a pretty solid game. The battle system is really unique.

When i read the thread title, i thought it said "Nice surprise lunch, at Gamestop of all places." i was hoping this would be a nationwide thing so i could score a free lunch. regardless, good find.

You're in for a treat. It's a great game. :) Worth noting is the awesome animated intro; it's one of my favorites. Great music, story, characters, gameplay...very nice RPG.
I'm assuming this isn't the place where you worked, right?
Ironicallly, it is. Both of the insanely inept managers that I was under were fired, and a good friend of mine is the new SM (he was a 3rd key when I worked there). He's much better at running the store, and it seems more relaxed and efficient. I actually go back now, if only to insult the previous managers with him.
As for TOD, I'm looking forward to playing it then. I knew it was kinda hard to find, but never really knew anything else about it. Thanks for the heads up!
