Ninja Gaiden Black download or used disk?

MikeydCT

CAGiversary!
What should I do, wait a few months to see if the used xbox game goes down in price? Ninja Gaiden Black at gamestop (only use game store near me) sales for $24.99. Or should I download the 360 version that is 1200 points ($15)? If I download it my hard drive will only have 6 gb left. I dont have a credit card so buying it online is out of the question. So download or wait for price on used to go down?
P.S. sorry if this is wrong area to post this.

I'm thinking of getting the XBL version, if it loads faster.

and because I'm a dirty, slutty whore.

Yeesh... it went up to $24.99 at GS? It was $17.99 a few months ago.

Whatever the case, I'd go for whichever is cheaper, unless you have a huge compulsion to have a physical copy of the game.

I got the game pretty cheap, but that was back in the day when they were still printing it, but after the 360 came out (actually Black may have come out after the 360, I don't recall).

I'd go for a physical copy. Buying it on XBLM means it'll have the same DRM that all XBLA games have so when you need to replace your 360 you'll have to be signed in and connected to XBL with the account that you bought the game on and if they decide to ban your account for some BS reason as they've been doing lately everything you bought on that account will cease to work.
I'd rather give money to the people who made it; rather than giving any money to some POS game retailer.
Amen, although I'm sure Microsoft gets a nice cut.
Buy the game over Xbox Live for faster loading times.
The last time I threw NGB into my 360, the drive head moved almost continuously. I'd get the download just to save wear and tear on my box.

I'd probably just get the physical copy.
I've just bought the game on XBL and it has been downloading for 20hrs straight and it has just hit 50%.

Dunno if it is a common problem but XBL downloads just suck here for some reason

If you had a 120 GB hard dr4ive I'd download it, but since you don't buy the disc. That hard drive space could be needed elsewhere in the future

BUY. THE. DISC.

Even if it's $10 more for a used disc, buy the disc.

Microsoft's DRM is awful. In 5 years, when you're on your 3rd replaced 360, you won't be able to play it unless you sign into live, or if you ever happen to be without broadband, you won't be able to play it.

Plus you just don't want to support that awful method of controlling content. Disc Version. DO IT.

Wow, it only took like 5 hours for me.

I posted the same thing on AVS, but I'll avoid MS's DRM whenever possible. For XBLA, there's no realistic alternative. For MS Originals, the disc is a fantastic alternative, and often cheaper.

Buy the disc. That way when the Xbox 720 comes out you'll still be able to play it (assuming anyone's still doing backward compatibility by that point).

Anyone else wonder why they didn't add achievements or any bonus content to any of these "Xbox Originals"? I guess reconfiguring the games would be costly, but you'd think MS would sell more copies if they offered anything more than exactly what you can get in hard-copy without the DRM issues.

If you have a 120 GB Hdd then buy of market place since it's cheaper. But If you don't go buy it at a retailer, good luck finding a decent scratch free copy.
