Nintendo DS + Food for the Family - Fred Meyer

Went to my neighborhood Fred Meyer for this deal - Grab an ad at the front of the store if you dont have one which includes a coupon for a free Norbest Tender Turkey if you spend over $100.oo. Than go grab a Turkey 13-25 lbs and head to electronics. Buy yourself a Nintendo DS for $149.99 and give them the turkey and the coupon to ring yourself a free bird. Not a savings on the system but gets you a couple of free meals (my turkey was 20lbs and I saved $24.oo) and is good for dinner, sandwiches, and turkey noodle soup (at least three meals). Good luck for hungry gamers! :lol:

That's actually so good of a deal that I just went to see if we have a Fred Meyers. It appears that we don't.

But think about this. It's nearing Thanksgiving and everyone is going to buy a turkey ... and these things are expensive. Either way you look at it (free turkey or 25 bucks off a DS), it's a great deal.

I really like turkey ...

Fred Meyer isn't a local store...it's a national chain, if I'm not mistaken.

That would be a good deal, but there aren't any of the stores in my area. Oh well...
 
I had been under the impression that Meijer was a midwest-exclusive chain, but I guess I'm wrong.

Good deal for those of you who didn't preorder a DS!

Turkey giveaways around this time of the year aren't that odd, though bending it CAG-style has an amusing bit to it. :D

I picked up a $5 store check for a Butterball turkey product for going to look around at a car dealership on Friday.
 
we had 48 cent a pound turkeys coupons for local Shaws supermarkets this past week, got a 20 lb bird for 10 bucks
