It's so bad now that I don't even bother going to that section of the eShop now since it can't be sorted, though it's not like they offer alphabetical sorting anyway. I just use the search since that's what it was a shortcut for since the boxart listing is not good for my uses. Then again, if the webstore were good, I wouldn't really care.

Nintendo: good are games; bad at websites, eshops, online services, rewards programs, and wifi connectivity... Unfortunately, I still love them, though.

 
Yes it's a little slow, but I think it's the large amount of games on sale. The old way where it would go to the list view, you would then have to SCROLL down to where you were.... and you had to remember that last game listed. And when you scrolled down to see the last 2 games that were not listed before.  :bomb:

I didn't dislike the list view but how N handles, well... almost all aspects of the eShop, annoys me.

Give us the option to view smaller box art or the list view by default but *do not* limit the games listed.

Yeah, the Project Phoenix devs were pretty open about the way they pissed away all their funds through extreme incompetence.

This would be helpful as I have been careful to buy games that have gotten really good reviews on metacritic and then I check other sources to see how they view it.

I just played the demo. Seems like it could be a fun and weird adventure, but the localization is poor. For example, a lighthouse is not a lamppost; it is a lighthouse. There are other errors like this. Call me crazy, but maybe the devs could consider hiring a professional copyeditor (whose first language is English) next time for their officially released game on the Nintendo Switch that they are asking people to pay money for.

Hyper Light Drifter and Celeste. Two of the best games on my Switch.

Yoku's Island Express is surprisingly. It does have a demo so you could check that out first.

Yea it’s normally $24 and on sale for $19. I was hoping it would be closer to $14 like it is for every other platform. But I didn’t realize it just came out on switch last month while it’s been out since May on other platforms.

It’s funny how most switch games that go on sale are still around $5 more expensive than other platforms. I like to call it the “portability tax”. Totally worth it sometimes when a family member has control of the tv and you want to game.

Exactly this. If the Nintendo Seal of Quality meant the game was good then The Angry Video Game Nerd wouldn't exist. Hell he started his persona as The Angry Nintendo Nerd because a ton of NES games were ass! Shitty NES games literally created his character.

Regarding lag on Lumines, I did notice a bit of input lag in console mode with a pro controller. That’s the only way I’ve played it so far. That being said, I’ve also noticed the same level of input lag on Pinball FX, which I feel is more obnoxious and game-breaking. Not sure if it’s my hardware. I upgraded the controller firmware with no improvement. It’s fine in handheld mode with the joycons attached (vs using the Flip).
 
On my 3DS I am getting an error code when trying to login to the eShop, 011-3133. I called Nintendo and they are trying to figure out what is going on. Has anyone experienced this error code before?
 
Has anyone got to the 5th mine in Moonlighter yet? I ask because I bought it on ps4 and there's a gamebreaking glitch in the 5th (final!) dungeon on ps4 and there's no way I'm buying this broken game twice if it hasn't been fixed
 
Civilization VI is 25% off, $44.99, until January 10th on the North American eShop. I’m debating buying it now or waiting for it to drop further at a later date. The iOS version also retails at $60 on the App Store, but is on sale often. Right now I think it’s $14.99. I’ve also thought about buying Civ VI there for my iPad Pro, but I feel like I’d more likely play it if it was on my Switch.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but there will be an Ubisoft sale starting tomorrow on the eShop.

Also, I finally got The Way Remastered and it's surprisingly really good. It's a little old school and clunky but I'm hooked. Good atmosphere, great pixel art and good puzzles. More than worth $0.99.

I managed to beat the physical version a month ago without downloading any updates. There were a couple of glitches but nothing reseting didn't fix.

 
Hollow Knight is $4.97 on the MEX eshop. Its already a fantastic deal at MSRP, but for those that want a deal, there it is 🙂
Also it's only $9.90 on the US eshop. At these prices, if you haven't already bought it, you owe it to yourself to get it. It is amazing.

Speaking of south of the border has anyone bought Cat Quest from Mex? Looks like it has the same language support as the US version but the site does warn that there might be slight differences between regions.

It has all the current DLC included, if you have any interest in the game I'd think this is the time to pick it up. It's also way cheaper than even the PSN sale.

completely agree, and with that new update that just came out it added a few features. bought mine on black Friday (not sure what I paid, I think $45) and i'm pretty happy with it.

 
There's also the distinct possibility that this is some kind of screw up.  The base Starlink game is still 59.99.  The DLC by itself is like a buck more than the digital game plus the DLC edition.  Even if you already have the arwing physical, you might as well buy the digital deluxe instead of the DLC by itself.  It makes no sense.

Where do you guys see this?? I got the physical version for my son for $30 but I'll spend the extra for a digital copy. Don't see it on eShop or ubi.
 
JD 2018 or 2019? they're both 20$ each

2019 has one month of unlimited for free

2018 has 3 months of unlimited for free

a year of unlimited is 25$ usd

so maybe it's best to get 2019 + 1 year instead of 2018+2019?

The latest one i played was 2017 on ps4 so idk

pls advice

i can tell you these games are seriously limited without unlimited. when it ran out on 2018 my kids could only get access to maybe 20 songs? and since the unlimited includes most if not all of the songs from previous years, id say 19 plus the year.
