Nintendo not showing alot of games for a reason

Simply put alot of people thought Nintendo did not show alot of new hardcore games or alot of games at all and left there press conference for wii fit. At the same time of all this other people wondered where all the third party games were. So heres the deal usually on a nintendo system most games bought are by Nintedo so many companies don't bother to make gamessince the only compotetion is Nintendo. With Nintendo not making as manhy games this leaves for third parties to now come to Nintendo. This is also shown by the PS2 having alot of third party games and the PS3 now mostly forst party games. Not a Nintendo fanboy or anythign just wondering what other people are thinking and if they think this could be the case and what CheapyD and Wombat think too.

Nintendo didn't show a lot of game because they didn't have a lot of games to show. They phailed.

Nintendo this year wanted to focus on their success and introduce games that would be more appealing to "teh casualz!" They could of shown a lot more, but based on the allotted time and trying to keep the conference more focused, they didn't. At least, that's what I assume the reason was.
