This is just a quick note to let you all know that the Nintendo Wii giveaway drawing on my site, HonestGamers, is being held on Monday, December 10. It will be held in the late evening on that date, or in the AM on December 11, and the winner will be contacted for a shipping address (US shipping address only).
I have the Wii sitting unopened in a box in my closet right now, so I'll ship it out shortly after the drawing to arrive in time for Christmas. This has been an ongoing contest on my site for several months, but it's not too late to get involved.
All you have to do is sign up for a free site account and then earn HG Points, the site's currency. Each 1000 points is worth a ticket in the drawing if you choose to redeem it. There are a ton of ways to earn points, including making posts in your free user blog or posting on the forums, or submitting cheats and other content.
Right now, I just added a new feature on the site that allows people to rate games in the database. Each game you rate is worth 10 points, and on my user blog on the site, I'm offering users the chance to claim an additional 1000 HG Points if they have rated 200 games by Monday at 9PM (PST), plus another 1000 points for each 100 games after that (up to a total of 10,000 points, enough for 10 prize drawing tickets).
