No Cussing Week...

I just searched my own posts and sadly it looks like I can only go back to around the beginning of 2008. Since then I've said fuck in 103 posts and shit in 286 (those are probably my most often used). That's not counting multiple uses per post of course, and there's probably some overlap.

(Though this post would make that 104 and 287).

So that's ~50 fuck posts a year and ~140 shit posts a year. Let's just say that it has been 4 years since I joined the site and extrapolate that to 200 total fuck posts and 560 shit posts. Added together you get 760 posts out of my total 6,902. Just over 10%, I think that's respectable.

EDIT: fucked up my math...now with lower totals.

I've got 474 shits and 157 fucks in the search result back to Feb 3rd 2008 in the results. Too lazy to do the math to figure out what my average is out of my 11,290 posts.

Go to search, advanced search. Change the date from last year to any.

Then type "shit" in the keyword box and select to search entire posts. Then type your username in that box. Tell it to return posts rather than threads.

The number of results is the number of times you've used that word in a post over the period the search results go back early 2008 is the limit apparently).

Rate you can only estimate as SpazX did by estimating how many times you used it per year and multiply that by how long you've been here since there's no way to find how many total posts you made over that period (unless you've posted less than 500 times as the results cap off at 500 matches).

Also 500 fucks--but those date back to May 20 2008, so you say that a bit less since it took a couple more months to hit the 500 search result limit. :D
