No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise Demo on EU PSN

... I'm in utter despair. This is AWFUL with a DualShock 3... this... this isn't No More Heroes... you gotta have Move for this to work, and that's only if the Move mirrors the Wii controls exactly, which I'm not sure it does. As for the graphics, it actually doesn't look much better than it did on the Wii... except for one thing.

Screen-tearing.

My God, it's everywhere, even by simply rotating the camera. I've never seen screen-tearing this bad. My... heart is breaking...

Thanks for the heads up... but I wish my EU PSN account worked-- the password reset email never came for that account.
Just a PSA, if anyone wanted to grab it.
Thanks for the info, I have my Move & Nav controller and all I need is the demo now then I'll be able to decide if its better than the Wii version and worth double dipping for.

Buuhan, you know it's a demo right??? Pre-release, not indicative of the final product. And I read everyone complaining on how much screen tear Bayonetta had, and I saw not as much as advertised, not saying you're exaggerating, but...I'd like to see for myself.

You know, you could just make a new account :p

Too much work...;)

Anyway, I played it and am fairly disappointed. Buuhan1 basically summed up things nicely. The graphics look great but the screen tearing is annoying. The controls aren't what I expected... they feel really loose. And pressing R3 to start a finishing move was an idiotic idea. They could have used a shoulder button or something.

Yeah... I've never seen such bad screen tearing in my life. Can't play it just because of that; maybe if it's an easy platinum >.>

It definitely feels off when using a standard controller and yeah vertical sync issues need to go away in all games.

Was some of the dialog different or am I just remembering the Wii version incorrectly?

tried that demo wasnt impressed with the game at all. very very very very repetitive imo couldnt be bothered to go past the tutorial and a few diff fight rooms.
I won't be playing unless it's either reallllly cheap or gets some sort of patch that can fix that screen tearing problem.
The screen tearing wouldn't bother me as much if this was an actual PS3 game. I've enjoyed plenty of PS3 games with screen tearing issues like Uncharted and it didn't bother me too much. But the fact that this is basically Wii graphics in HD and there's still screen tearing is what gets me. Talk about being a lazy port.

I hope there's multiple options for control layouts, or at least, the option to customize controls...

ive got this on preorder, but wont be able to try the demo for a few weeks as im out of town away from my system. should i be considering cancelling my preorder-the demo is that rough?

If you do not own a wii I would think about it (unless you get good loot with your preorder) atleast to check reviews to give you a better idea.
*turns on his wii and plays the originals* Just dreadful
You better be referring to the PS3 port job not looking much better than the Wii version, and not that you're calling the original game dreadful.

Cause if you are, I'll have to hunt you down.
