Curious as to what anyone thinks of this...
I was, frankly, uh, uh, surprised to see that we don’t have a record, so far as I can tell, of your having given to me despite my uh, long and deep uh, work. In fact, it’s been my major work, uh, on the committee and sub-committee it’s been essentially in your sector. I am, I’m simply candidly calling to ask for a contribution. As the senior member of the um, committee and a sub-committee chair, we have (chuckles) obligations to raise, uh funds.
Norton's official statement said:
He is circulating a voicemail of a standard request made by candidates to potential donors who do not know the candidates or their work.

You're going to have to try harder if you want to surprise us. A politician soliciting money from lobbyists, how is this even news?

The comments in the politico article are lulworthy.

'Throw the bums out!' fuck yeah! vote republican because they won't do this corrupt shit!

UB, should DC have a vote in the house of representatives?

Breitbart is a serial liar and a fraud. I'd criticize him for being a drunk too, but what's that saying about glass houses?

Sorry, after Shirley Sherrod and James O'Keefe/ACORN, anybody believing a fucking *thing* associated with Breitbart has thrown their dignity out the fucking window.

Well, the former first, of course - the truth of the latter is only relevant if the former has any truth to it.

You'll believe anybody who helps suit your agenda - even the 'news' of a serial liar, someone who has lied in the past to present a distorted image of the world, and someone who will continue to do so.

How can you trust Breitbart? How dare you trust Breitbart?

I don't particularly trust any singular news source.

However, Norton herself has confirmed that this message is, in fact, one she personally left. I feel that this is enough to establish fact in this case. Would you disagree?

Don't know how many of you get HBO, but Breitbart is going to be on Bill Maher's show next week. Should be good.
