Obama abusing government power already; Creates imaginary Office

Obama has created an government office and wants your personal information.

Change.gov has a .gov top-level domain (change.gov). That is reserved for “qualified government organizations and programs”.

The “Office of the President-Elect” doesn’t exist within the government.

Obamabots can thank me for pointing them to their next fix.

Oh boy, on how many levels this post fails. Let me count the ways.

  1. Obama is not the president, he cannot "create an office" being a Senator.
  2. Did you ever think that the .gov domain is managed by some company managing the TLD, with oversight from the government? They would have to have current elected officials sign off on this. The authority to create such a domain certainly does not come from Obama.
  3. Are you seriously pointing this out as a problem? After Bush and Co. shredding the constitution? fucking seriously?

nathansu, just get off his case already. militantatheistaphob is just trying to point out that there are lots of parallels between Obama and that power grabbing Hitler fellow. If we're not careful he'll start killing off all the Blacks and Jews.

Bush and co. didn't do anything unique to the office, and by comparison, were pretty tame when looking at what other Presidents did.

Someone's been living under a rock. Here's a link to three-hundred-eighty-eight scandals W has been involved with since he took office. Note that most of these, if pursued by people in power, can end up in a conviction for treason.

Pick girls. I'm kinda lonely.

It doesn't have to exist within the government. There is, and has been, an organization and work done for the transition of Obama into the presidency. It not a government organization, but it is a political one. There are also clearly government actions being taken on the part of the Bush administration for the transfer for power. It might not be a CLEAR and UNIFIED program, but it is definitely a valid use of the TLD in the spirit if not letter of the law.

I guess ruining our country's economy, installing a police state, starting 2 wars abroad, and generally embarassing us in the face of the world... that doesn't count

You forgot to put your neo-con colored lenses on first. Everything looks rosey when you do.

Your trolling usually has a better disguise as blithering idiocy.

This one? Not so much.
