Odin Sphere Leifthrasir: Storybook Edition on Amazon.ca for $100

Seems devs are skimping out for CEs on Ps3/Vita nowadays. Zestiria only had a CE for the Ps4, now this.

Well all the 1st run standard editions are coming with a softcover copy of the artbook, and the artbook is the meat of the LE.

I actually prefer that the LEs aren't on each platform, if they pushed out too much it'd seem common and a bit like a cash grab. Only having one makes the actual LE that much more special. If the LE was available for each system I wouldn't be hyped for it at all. I'd want to get all of them, but wouldn't want to pay $300. So I'd try to wait for price drops, and if things started selling out I'd just get the last versions in stock.

Honestly though, this LE doesn't interest me that much. I hope Atlus goes big with Persona 5's LE.

Well its hit EB finally:

They're asking $110, while at the same time Amazon has it for $100 and it works with the 30% discount... I guess I'm gonna walk into the store and put down $5 cash. Just in case my Amazon one gets squished.
Hm, if it works with the 30% promo I might just pre-order it in the end.

Edit: I have the CE in my cart with another game, and I don't see the discount. I guess it doesn't qualify after all.

I put in an order, too, because $70 ain't bad for a George Kamitani hardcover art book  though from what I remember of the PS2 version, it's probably best played on the Vita.

Also, FYI, Langrisser Incarnation for the 3DS is part of the 30% deal. Here's some info on this old SRPG series and how it's making a return after 15 years: http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2015/2754.html

Currently contemplating what to pair it with...

This is actually the first time I've ever heard of this series. I shall check it out.

This guy wasn't too impressed by it:

He makes very valid points, in all fairness. Perhaps I shouldn't have even brought it up, especially when you consider Fire Emblem is out earlier in February. I was going to pair it with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, but that one hasn't reviewed well either :\

For Digimon Cyber Sleuth, I've heard plenty of good things from people. I'd take reviews with a grain of salt when it comes to Digimon honestly.
