Old Ass Sierra Games on a semi new PC?

So I know that GOG has some of the classic Sierra PC games of the past available, but I have a particular title I am searching for to play on my laptop- Gold Rush! I have the old disc from 25 years ago, but that is not an option. anybody know where and how I can get this game?

why is the disc not an option? if you can find a way to use the disc, download D-fend reloaded, and you should be able to play the game using that

I'm guessing that with it being a disc from 25 years ago it is a floppy disc. I did a search for the game and I was able to find it for download however I'm not sure how legal it is.

that would be correct. floppy disc or 3 1/4 hard disc is what it is (can't remember off the top of my head.

just curious, was it a torrent site? I stay away from those, but file sharing sites are a little less shady for me.
