A few years ago I sold my SNES collection (system and all) at a yard sale... sadly it was pretty much the only thing I sold that day... but anyways it had about 20 games (all with original boxes and most with instruction manuals) and 3 controllers and the console...

I really miss my SNES and wanna get one cheaply with the Legend of Zelda again. Any ideas where I can find one without going over, say, 20 bucks, controllers included?

thanks

btw, I wrote a tribute to my SNES some time ago in a essay contest held by Shigeru Miyamoto last year if anyone wants to read the sad sad tale of me stupidly selling it off

Depends on where you're located. Craigslist sometimes has some stuff and Goodwill has stuff from time to time. Other than that, do a looking for post in the trading channel.

Since most retail chains have gotten out of old systems (damn them to hell), getting an SNES is getting more complicated. I personally never have any luck at the Goodwills (I only ever found Master Levels for Doom II, which I already owned). Try eBay, you can usually find a lot with console, controllers and games.

Most likely your just gonna have to resort to eBay. But getting one under $20 is near impossible. They reach around $50 unfortunatly.

I have a extra somewhat yellowed one (works fine though, wish super nintendos didn't have that yellowing problem), if you're interested I could try to dig out of storage and find the cords for. I'd do $25 ($20 plus $5 shipping), but you would be on your own for games since I don't have any snes doubles currently.
