Onimusha 3 at Target drops to $3.75

Rephrased: I scanned a copy of Onimusha 3 at my Target on a lark/whim/fershitsandgiggles. It came up at $3.75, so I bought the four copies they had.

This is a VIDEO GAME DEAL -anyone interested should check out their local Target. I believe its an across the board price drop. But, your point is taken so I've revised the title of this thread.

why cant I ever find deals like this....living in NY sux everythings always sold out, rarely anything of value makes it to clearance

I just started playing 3. Storywise its a bit out there but entertaining. You get analog control this time so thats a plus. The biggest difference I've noticed about 3 is that its easier compared to the first two. You can get so many more healing items. I was barely 2 hours in and I had like 15 herbs already.
 
Its a clearence price dude. Just because stickers were not on, does not mean its a regular everyday price. As always with Target clearence sales, its YMMV

No, he edited the OP to say the other 3 were for friends. Originally it just said he picked up four copies. If he had said the 3 were for friends in the first place, no one would have jumped on him.
 
I apologize for suggesting this have been moved to the bragging rights forum. The way the op phrased his original comments made it seem like he was bragging, not like he was informing people of a deal. If its true/confirmed that Onimusha 3 is $3.75 at all Targets then I suppose it should be moved back to Video Game Deals. What do I know anyway .. I'm just a newb here ;) Anywho I think I'll stop off at Target tomorrow to see if I can find it myself .. cant beat that price with a stick.

It belongs in the Target Clearance thread, since Onimusha 3 has been confirmed clearance for months now.

Hell, someone mentioned it in there awhile ago, with the same price.
 
Checked the Stellhorn rd. and the Coldwater rd. ones here in town and saw nothing, not even the other clearance games...
 
I think it will be difficult to find at this point at most Targets. I saw it for $7.48 in late May or early June so like it was mentioned, this has been on clearance for at least 2 months.
 
Target clearance prices vary from store to store, hence the fact that there's a thread dedicated to tracking their price drops & what store they were found at. ;)
 
Man! I can't believe how cheap this game is everywhere!!

I picked it up at release for $49.99 and don't regret it one bit.
I remember getting it on a thursday, and then beating it on sunday. It was so great that I played it at every opportunity til I beat it.

If you don't have it, GET it and PLAY it.

I love when people say 'Well, I picked up so many copys for my friends...see they LOVE Onimusha, and all own a PS2...and yes, I do have friend!". I get my freinds games all the time. I got a few of them WOW since they were broke when it came out and we all wanted to play together.

Besides, I dont think 3.75 is a lot when it comes to a gift. If i found a few copies of a game at 3.75 and knew a few who might be interested in playing it, I'd surely offer it to them.

That's kind of an ass thing to say. If I found a game for that price, I'd pick up a couple for some of my friends too if I think they'd like it. I can think of several who'd get a kick out of playing it.

Sounds like you need to get some new friends...
 
Fact is, he came back after we also asked he why he bought so much and played the friend card. I never buy crap for my friends and they do the same for me.

"Friend card?" Meh. You wouldn't have believed him if he had stated that originally because of the way you and your friends interact. It's possible the OP didn't state that because it didn't occur to him that buying cheap games from his friend would get him pounced on. I understand that there is alot of hoarding going on out there, and maybe he did get questioned at first, but I think it's funny that a person can buy a couple of copies of a cheap game, and state they are going on eBay, and not get hounded as much as a guy who buys some copies for some friends or as you say, "plays the friend card." $3.75 is a great price for a simple gift. Besides, if he was hoarding, he would have said he bought all of them there, instead of just 4.

There, I'm done. I believe the OP. I buy stuff for my friends too. I would have bought some for my friends too. That's why we're friends.

i actually got this for 54 cents. it rang up 2.54 and i had a 2 dollars off any movie game or dvd coupon i got from the entertainment book last year. funny thing is, i dont even have a playstation. plus, this was well over 4 months ago.

Oh, and by the way, before I left my apartment to check, I called up my friend and asked him if he wanted me to pick him up a copy...because that's what friends do. Especially one CAG to another. (Sorry, just had to get my two cents in on that arguement)
