Onlive is on the verge of deserving a medal or something!

CAGiversary!
These guys have stepped their game up by leaps and bounds this year. Incredible deals, improved service... man. They are getting more and more games and now they got me giving them $10 a month. Today they just announced that all playpack subscribers will get to play F3ar multiplayer! A month ago they gave everybody on playback Homefront multi. Last week they made me really happy by adding Advent Rising, a game I never got to finish when it first came out on xbox.

It's like every week these guys pull another ace out of the deck. I wonder what the next game/deal they will come out with next is going to be. I'm hoping for some high end PC game announcements soon.

Have they released sd streaming yet?I'm a founding member but have been unable to use the service because my 3Mbps connection from ATT.

Wow. They have the first part of a cancelled trilogy and multiplayer suites from bad games, all for $10 a month!?

Oh boy, I can't wait to sign up.

How about they get some exclusives for their service? What about paying Sega for a new Skies or Valkyria Chronicles game? Imagine how good those games could look.

My man... if they got exclusives, that would put them into the real playing field. I bet they can do things with their cloud that consoles would struggle with. Getting some Sega games would get them more of my money. I still have yet to buy any full games. I did get Red Faction for free though.

Onlive says you do not need a good computer to play the games but does having a nice graphics card help out at all? I got onlive working on my 4 year old intel mac laptop and the game ran very smooth but it had this haze of blurriness to it as if I was watching someone else play the game on my screen.

Witcher!

And all games have that blurryness as far as I know, that's the big downfall for me. Even on my Tv its there.

They helped with the Gamescom trailer for Arkham City. Their DIDO technology seems amazing as well-- hopefully it comes to fruition. The CEO was on the most recent episode of IGN's Tech Fetish. Highly recommended if that sort of thing makes you geek out. :p

If they can find a way to make the whole experience lagless, I would think about it. From what I've played there is still a slight delay there and it bugs the crap out of me.

Not gonna defend Onlive, but Advent Rising is a damn fun game.

My main problem with On Live is no mods for PC games. It makes me wonder what is the point unless you need to play that one PC exclusive game when you can get the 360/PS3 versions for just as cheap.
