Order by OR view Threads by Started Date?

Is there a way, without searching for some specific keywords, to:

Either order the Threads in a Forum by Thread Start Date

OR

View all NEW Threads in a forum since some time frame or read marker WITHOUT considering the last post date?

I would like to be able to view all new Threads in a Forum without replies to existing threads being mixed in.

Any ideas?
