Original Xbox Wireless Adapter on 360?

Sorry if this has been asked, but everytime i try to do a search i get an error.

Does the Original official xbox wireless internet adapter work with the 360?
My friend is willing to sell me his, but i want to make sure itll work on my 360.

The original wireless adapter was just a bridge, right? If so, yes. Otherwise no.

Yep, it's compatible. Hooks up through the ethernet, I believe.

The only real difference between using the new one and the old one is that you'll need to plug in the old one in an outlet. The new one is powered by the system.
