Inspired by the Watch "Grizzly Man" thread I decided to start this thread to let all the CAGs know about upcoming airings of the documentary Murderball. I've heard good things about the film and been wanting to check it out for awhile when I heard A&E were going to be airing it at the end of February. It's about quadrapalegics who play full contact rugby in wheelchairs. If anyone who has seen it wants to chime in with comments, feel free.

Thread winner already.

Murderball is a great movie. I saw the DVD last month and loved it. The DVD had extras where some of the guys from the film hang out with the Jackass guys and they fit in great. Highly recommended.

Prepare to be dissapointed.

Yeah, it's a good movie, though I'd recommend buying or renting the DVD instead, because of the widescreen and the large quantity of extras (not to mention the fact that there's no edited out content or commercials).

Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting to see this since I saw a couple of the guys interviewed on TV.

Anybody else catch it? Enjoyed The Grizzly Man more, but it was pretty good.

Probably too much stuff on Joe running to coach Canada after not making the US squad. It's good drama and all but the documentary just spent too much time on what really isn't all that big of a deal IMO.

I have this on my DVR, I will watch it later. I was surpised that it came out tv that fast. I'm somewhat sure it just came out on dvd a month or so ago.
