I figured I would ask this here, since I know a lot of CAGs are parents.

Anyway, we finally have a family computer, rather than just my personal one, and my sisters are starting to use the internet a lot more. I was looking into parental controls, but I'm not sure which one to go with. So I just need suggestions, hopefully from experience, of a good parental control program/addon for Firefox. My sisters are only 11 and 13, so I really need a way to keep them away from 98% of the internet.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and BTW, it's a Windows XP computer, in case you need to know.

I know you're looking for a firefox add-on, but...

If you are a comcast customer you can download norton 10 for free. This has parental controls built in so I guess you could protect all aspects of your computer (just in case they're smart enough to just download another browser and hide the icons and knew where to launch it...)

That'll probably be your best bet - using an internet security suite.

Hello 'access_denied' ;-)

You can try VISE Parental control, www dot kidscontrol dot eu
Works with IE and Firefox, XP, Vista, Win7
