i wwas up in south bend and well went over to TRU to get the penny guides and they didnt have any so i went over to gamestop and traded in some games and then over to the pawnshop. :) i was looking for some cheap games to do the 4 for 40% at gamestop but didnt find any worth it. I did find two i think great finds

Find number 1

the legend of zelda collectors disk complete without a single scratch on it. I went up to the checkout thinking man this is probally going to be 25 bucks (cause they charge between 8-25 for games) well they couldnt find the code in the system so after a few minutes they came back and say that we would sell it to you for EIGHT BUCKS i was like 8.00 give me WOOOOO

when i was checking out i saw a box set sitting next to the dvds

FIREFLY The complete season once again it didnt have a tag on it besides a basic orange tag that would be on the single dvds they said since it only has one sticker on it i guess that is what its selling for

PRICE 5.97 for the complete season

so for about 15 bucks (after tax) i got a complete Legend of zelda colletors disc and a BOX set (4 DVDS) of Firefly the complete season

didnt think could pass these up for this cheap
 
Anyone else find the humor in a pawn shop not being able to "find the code in the system"?

Pretty good finds though..
 
Wow, nice finds. I have yet to make a good find at a pawn shop, yet I keep checking any new one I see. There are one or two I check every now and then, but most around me have crazy prices so I make one check, note that, and figure there's no need to return.
 
That's a great haul on both items.

I went to a pawnshop today and saw Highlander: Season 1 complete in excellent condition for $25. Didn't know whether to get it or not, since then I would have to collect all the seasons and they don't exactly run cheap.

It's not "cheap" by any means, but you can get the entire series for fairly good price from the Highlander Store, FYI.

I've got an extra sealed Zelda CE (remember that whole replacement disc fiasco?) that I want to sell eventually, but when I see someone get it for $8 it makes me think the thing is not as valuable as I thought. Great find, though!

Pretty fancy Pawn Shop to be having a "system" .... all the shops around here are shaddy crack dealing covers.
 
All I found today at my pawn shop was Charmed Season 1 for $20.

My fiance will love it though for Mothers Day.
