Is Pc the best? based on opinions it is yes, & no, 
would love to hear what you all think on the subject matter.

I think so. You can get games much cheaper on PC. https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/ is where you can find a lot of good sales for games in general although you'll see quite a bit of PC games.

If you intend to keep your games, it likely is.  If you habitually resell your games, perhaps not since that's not an option.  Most savings on PC games are direct discounts where physical media seems to require more flipping, price matching and arguing with store managers.
