PCs, parts

I recently acquired five Dell OptiPlex GSs and several monitors while dumpster diving. I want to get them off my hands. I'm using one right now; they're not total crap. The monitors are nice 17" deals (beige). If you're interested, email me. They all have WinME installed (eech), along with some crap from the previous owner. I can wipe them if you want. I'm looking for ca. $80 each for the PCs and around $50 for the monitors.

Posting the model # of the Optiplex is a good idea. If they're really Optiplex GS machines, they're Pentium-based (that's first generation Pentium, from 75-233MHz).

If that's the case, they aren't worth $8, let alone $80.

Now you understand why I asked.

Minimum specs on Windows ME are 150MHz CPU, so they could be running on a Optiplex GS with a 150-233MHz CPU.

Microsoft's recommended minimum for ME is a 300MHz CPU, which is a different matter entirely.

Posting the service tags for the machines in question would be a more concrete way to find out what they're supposed to have inside of them.
