Penny Auctions

ChosenOne1

CAGiversary!
I was looking into Penny Auctions like Quibids. I have read the fair-share about how they cost $0.60 per bid and you have to buy bid packages and the timer resets 10,15, and 20 seconds after each bid and how the company makes a great deal of money off items but has anyone used them before?

Do they actually work? I want to sign up for Quibids but the "free" sign-up comes at a cost of $60 for 120 bids.

Has been successful with these penny auctions and broken even or done better?

These sites look like rip-offs to me. I've never used one but I have a friend who did actually win several items off Swoopo a while back. He ended up getting a PS3 for about $10, some $1500 camera for $20 and a couple games for a few bucks each. Of course he never told me how many bids he had to buy to win these auctions.

its all luck, and whoever gets in last bid gets item. However, yo have to pay for the bid packs and the final price of the item. These sites are not scams persay, but are pretty much like gambling. They are legitimate, and if you win, they will give you your item. (As long as its a reputable site of course)
